Our Vision
At Ibarat Education Development Fund (a.k.a Ibarat Fund), we envision a transformed Kyrgyzstan where every child has access to high-quality education that combines best international practices and Kyrgyz national values, and facilitates lifelong learning.
Our goal is to foster a society where education is the cornerstone of personal and social development, empowering children to become innovative thinkers, responsible citizens and compassionate leaders.
Our Mission
Government statistics show that only 27% of children in Kyrgyzstan have access to preschool and kindergarten education, with similar challenges in elementary and high schools.
As a foundation that greatly cares for the future of our country, we feel called to respond to this need. We are dedicated to work in the following directions:
Supporting establishment of Montessori kindergartens and elementary schools that strive for making high quality education accessible to all children in Kyrgyzstan.
By providing resources, training, and support, we aim to create an inclusive educational environments that nurture each child’s potential and prepares them for a brighter future.
Empowering teachers and other education professionals by enhancing their knowledge and skills, and deepening their experience and expertise. This is achieved through education grants, the establishment of teacher training centers, and support for ongoing research in the field.
Across Kyrgyzstan, only 27% of children in Kyrgyzstan have access to preschool and kindergarten education.
By the early 2030s, the demand for preschool and primary education is expected to peak, as the number of children aged 3-17 is projected to increase, reaching 30% of the total population.
Our Programs and Services
Montessori Teacher Training
We offer comprehensive training programs, exchange visits, and seminars for educators to become certified Montessori teachers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to foster a nurturing learning environment.
Promoting the Montessori Pedagogy
Our foundation aims to advance Montessori pedagogy by supporting educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan, particularly in rural and developing areas. We strive to make high-quality education accessible to every child by providing funding, materials, and resources to schools and educators, ensuring that all students have the tools they need to succeed.
Community Outreach
Through our community outreach programs and events, we engage with parents and local communities to promote the importance of early childhood development. We raise awareness about the benefits of Montessori education and encourage active participation in their children’s learning journeys.
